Inkbit World

2,468 citizens of the Capital. 100 jobs. 79 seats in the government.

WHERE THEY CAME FROM

From the print shop the ink spread outward. Streets were drawn, then squares, then a castle. The Capital grew into the heart of the Kingdom, and 2,468 citizens moved in.

WHO THEY ARE

Nobody in the Capital wears a uniform. You can tell what a citizen does by what is on their head, on their face and behind their ear: a chef's toque, a pilot's cap, lab goggles, a stethoscope, a pencil. One hundred professions keep the city running, about twenty-four citizens each.

Seventy-nine citizens run the government: one Governor, three Ministers (Ink, Trade and Peace), a City Lord for each of the five cities, ten Council members, twenty Officers and forty City Staff. Nobody knows who holds which seat until the reveal.

WHAT THEY DO

They run the Kingdom from the castle. Every road on the map leads back to the Capital, including Ink Street, where the Inkbit Exchange stands.

The Capital throws an election night party

News of a great election far across the sea reached the Kingdom this afternoon, and the square in front of the castle filled up in minutes. Tonight at 18:25 the Election Night party opens: 4,444 animated pixel supporters, half in red with the elephant, half in blue with the donkey.

Entry is free, ten per wallet, and the party runs for three days, until November 7 at 18:25. Look out for the big hair: Swoops, Bouffants and Pompadours. Nobody in the square is a real politician, and Inkbit News is not taking sides.

The Kingdom at a glance

The Arena is the talk of the Kingdom: Fighter tickets now change hands at around $0.54, the highest floor of any district. Press Cards hold at $0.30 even after a 32% dip, and the Apes reprint opened at $0.22.

The Wild Ones remain the busiest market, with about $16 traded since the boats stopped running and 1,473 households holding a tribesperson. World citizens are settling into the new government at $0.03 a seat, and Pet adoptions sit at $0.04 across 1,239 homes.

Prices are in US dollars as shown on OpenSea, and they move every hour. This is a newspaper, not financial advice.
