District 13 · Election Square
Election Night
4,444 pixel supporters. Red Party vs Blue Party. One big night.
WHERE THEY CAME FROM
Far across the sea, a great election has just been counted, and the news reached the Kingdom by boat. The people of the Capital did what they always do when there is something to celebrate: they filled the square in front of the castle, brought lanterns, balloons and confetti, and stayed up all night.
Inkbit News calls it Election Square, and for one night it belongs to everyone.
WHO THEY ARE
4,444 supporters came out, half in red with the elephant, half in blue with the donkey. You can spot them by their hair: Swoops, Bouffants, Pompadours, Helmet Bobs, Comb Overs and Silver Waves, the way every campaign poster seems to have it.
Every head is put together from 70 parts in each of eight layers: head shape, skin, eyes, brows, hair, nose, mouth and hat, from baseball caps and straw boaters to top hats and party hats.
WHAT THEY DO
They cheer. Every one of them is animated: confetti, fireworks, balloons, spotlights, ballot rain, a rainbow ring and more. Nobody in the square is a real politician, and nobody is taking sides. It is a party for both colours.
