WHERE THEY CAME FROM
Every year, when the ink runs hot, the Kingdom clears the old quarry between the Capital and the Pet Meadows, rings it with lanterns and calls it the Arena. Then it holds the Inkbit Tournament.
Fighters come from every corner of the map: karate masters from the Capital, Muay Thai fighters from the harbour, shadow ninjas from the rooftops of Ink Street, cyborgs rebuilt in the Danger Zone, and an oni or two that nobody invited.
WHO THEY ARE
5,555 fighters entered this year, in twenty styles: Karate, Muay Thai, Samurai, Sumo, Boxer, Luchador, Shadow Ninja, Kabuki, Oni, Cyborg, Inferno, Frost, Thunder and more.
The bracket is merciless. One Grand Champion, two Finalists, four Semi-Finalists, eight Quarter-Finalists, then rounds of 16, 32, 64 and onwards to 1,024. Everyone else is a Challenger, still hungry for a shot.
WHAT THEY DO
They fought for the title, and for the crowd. The bracket is settled: Grand Champion #536, a Karate master, beat Finalists #78 (Thunder) and #363 (Inferno). Round 1 is over. Who wants a rematch?
